Why You Aren’t Losing Weight

This is tough love for ya today because I need it too! Are you on a weight loss journey but actively struggling with seeing changes like you’d hope? It’s likely because of a few mistakes I see people making all time. It’s super important to be honest with ourselves on why progress isn’t happening and work to find a solution! I know I have made every single one of these mistakes myself and let me tell you, it’s only holding you back!! So let’s get into it…

1. You are making excuses. I want you to think of every excuse you have made on why you can’t lose weight and I want you to find a solution to one of them! It is possible. You got this

2. You are not tracking accurately. It is very common for people to underestimate their calorie intake. Really make sure you are being accurate and concise when you are measuring and tracking!

3. You are not challenging yourself. Going through the motions and doing things that are “easy” will not get you the results you want.

4. You are self-sabotaging. All-or-nothing mindset is only letting you down and contributing to weight gain and yo-yo dieting. You don’t need to be perfect, you just need to be consistent most of the time.

5. You are not paying attention to the weekends- the weekends count too. Start implementing those healthy habits on the weekends too!

6. You don’t believe in yourself! Mindset is everything when it comes to a successful weight loss journey. Believe in yourself and give yourself grace!
